Absentee Ballot Information

Municipal Absentee Ballots are available May 10th ; you may vote in person at Town Hall or take the ballot home – all ballots leaving the office require written application. You may also call the office at 685-4939 and request a ballot be mailed.

RSU #38 School Validation Absentee Ballots will not be available until May 17th ; Absentee voting after 5/17 will allow for Town Staff to issue both ballots at the same time.

Absentee Ballot applications are now available at the Town Office and here.  These may be submitted at any time and must be dropped off or mailed in (8 Old Kents Hill Rd., Readfield, ME 04355).  Electronic submission is not available for this election as there are no state ballots.

The last day for an Absentee Ballot (without special circumstances) is Thursday, June 6th at 3:30 pm.  The Town Office is closed for regular business on Thursdays but the Clerk’s Office will be open from 7:30 – 3:30 pm for Absentee Ballots and Voter Registrations.

You must be a registered Readfield voter to participate in elections.  You can register to vote during Town Office hours and also on Election Day.

On June 11th the polling place will be open on the second floor of the Town Office from 8 AM to 8 PM.  Absentee ballots will be processed during this time.
