2020 Dog License Information

Reminder: Dog Licenses were due December 31, 2019. A state-mandated LATE FEE of $25.00 per dog will be in effect starting February 1, 2020, in addition to the regular licensing fee of $6.00 spayed/neutered (must have proof if not on file) or $11.00 if able to produce young. Here's how to license your dog:

  • Mail a check to 8 Old Kents Hill Road, Readfield ME 04355 if we have current rabies on file or send a copy of rabies certificate
  • Stop by the Town Office during regular business hours
  • Call the Town Office at 207-685-4939 if we have current rabies on file or you can email it to Info@readfieldmaine.org and then call to register (additional fee for credit call transactions over the phone)
  • Visit the Town Website at www.readfieldmaine.org online services link and click on Dog Licensing & Renewal

Need a current rabies then your in luck.....

Last Chance Rabies Clinic is happening on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 from 4:30 - 5:30 PM at the Town Office. The cost is $15.00 per shot/per animal. The clinic is open to all dogs and cats, residents or non-residents. Pre-Registration and Pre-Payment is Required so stop by the Town Office or call 207-685-4939 for more information. ~ Scholarships are available, please ask for an application ~

Please let us know if you no longer own a dog that you may have registered in the Town of Readfield or if you and/or your dog has moved out of town so we can update our records.
