Property Inspections
In order to determine property valuations the Assessing Department will conduct inspections over the course of the year, but most extensively in the winter and spring, to update property record cards and to follow up on properties with building permits obtained through April 1. Inspections will include taking digital pictures of the building(s). If an interior inspection is necessary, we will request entrance at that time. If you are unavailable, we will leave notification to set up an appointment.
It is our goal to provide fair and equitable assessments for all Readfield properties and appreciate your anticipated cooperation. If you have any questions, please call us at (207) 685-1810 or e-mail at info@readfieldmaine.org.

Old Map & Lot Conversion Chart
Several years ago the Town of Readfield changed the map and lot designations on all pieces of property. If you have a map and lot that you can not find use the conversion chart which will allow you to look up a piece of property in the commitment book and using the conversion chart, find the new map and lot numbers.
