Swap Shop Guidelines
The Swap Shop at the Readfield Transfer Station is continuing to evolve. You will soon see that the shop is next door to the current space as plans are underway to reorganize into a more comfortable location with appropriate shelving that should make the shop more manageable and accessible. The Swap Shop is an important component in the Reduce, Reuse, Recycle cycle. Reusing is a time-honored practice that Mainers know and practice well. Please bring items in and feel free to take items you can use. Attached is our new handout that you can find at the Swap Shop also. It provides you all the needed information for utilizing the shop. If you have any time to donate to keeping the shop in tip-top shape please let your Town Manager know and we can arrange for you to be a volunteer! Any time you have would be gratefully appreciated.
