May Messenger is packed full of great information!!!

April showers sure are lingering but those May flowers should be here soon..... so for now how about settling for some May Messenger News from the Town of Readfield!!! 

You can check out the online version here or pick up a copy around town at the Readfield Library, the Readfield or Kents Hill Post Offices or the Transfer Station.

Some highlights we don't want you to miss:

  • Coming up on Wednesday May 8th and 29th we will be holding two Municipal Budget & Warrant Public Hearings starting at 6:30pm - more information can be found here
  • Meet the Candidates Night will be held at the Town Office on Monday, May 13th starting at 6:30 PM - see who is running for Select Board & School Board and submit questions online by clicking here for more information.
  • Absentee Ballots will be available after Friday, May 10th - you can request your absentee ballot online here - or stop in after the 10th to pick one up 
  • Spirit of America nominations are being accepted up until Friday, May 17th - if you know someone who should be honored submit your nomination today!
  • Readfield's Annual Roadside Clean-Up Day is happening Saturday, May 18th and we would love to see you there!!! Click here to find out more information and how to sign up!
  • Tuesday, June 11th from 8:00am - 8:00pm at 1617 Main Street (Kents Hill Alfond Center) is Voting Day for the Town of Readfield Annual Town Meeting, State Primary Election & RSU #38 Referendum Vote - stay up to date on voting by checking out the Voting Page and the June 11, 2024 Election Page
  • And lets not forget one of our most popular days!!!! Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day at the Readfield Transfer Station on Sunday, June 30th! Pre-Registration is Required and this event fills up quickly and fast! - Click here for more information or pick up a form at the Town Office or Transfer Station. You must be pre-registered with your town in order to participate.
