NOTICE
REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
Maintenance Equipment:

The Towns of Readfield is seeking proposals for equipment to perform winter maintenance of our sidewalk and other infrastructure and grounds maintenance work.  The ability to perform a variety of other work is strongly preferred.  We are also seeking proposals for roadside mowing equipment.  The RFP is for two separate equipment packages, but they may be combined if there is opportunity or value in doing so.  We are offering our current multi-purpose sidewalk maintenance equipment for sale or trade.  Please see the "Holder Photos" addendum for details.

An optional site visit will be held on Wednesday, June 13th, 2018 at 10:00 a.m., at 8 Old Kents Hill Rd, Readfield, Maine.

The proposal documents, consisting of specifications and the proposal forms, will be available online, including the Town of Readfield’s website www.readfieldmaine.org, or may be obtained in hard copy or electronically from Eric Dyer, Readfield Town Manager.  To request a copy of the bid documents, send an email to:  readfield.tmgr@roadrunner.com.

Proposals will be accepted in electronic or paper form, in an email or envelope clearly marked  “Maintenance Equipment RFP - Do Not Open” Email must be directed to: readfield.tmgr@roadrunner.com.  Mailed proposals must be sent to the Readfield Town Offices, 8 Old Kents Hill Road, Readfield, Maine 04355.  Proposals will be accepted until 3:00 PM local time on Friday, June 22, 2018.  At that time and place, the Proposals will be publicly opened and reviewed.  The Town specifically reserve the right to accept any or reject any and all proposals, wholly or in part; to waive technical defects or procedural requirements; and to make awards deemed to be in the best interest of the Town of Readfield.
