The Town of Readfield seeks proposals from qualified firms to complete paving on the following project: 

Transfer Station Access Road:

  • Surface Preparation of Existing Gravel Road Base
  • Installation of 2-1/2” 19mm HMA Base Pavement
  • Installation of Tack Coat and 1-1/2” 12mm HMA Surface Pavement

All proposals are to be submitted in sealed envelopes marked “PAVING DOCUMENTS – DO NOT OPEN” addressed to the Town Manager, Readfield Town Office, 8 Old Kents Hill Road, Readfield, Maine 04355 until 3:00 P.M. on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at which time they will be publicly opened.  A mandatory pre-bid inspection is scheduled for Thursday, August 30, 2018 at 9:00am at the Readfield Transfer Station.  Proposal forms and specifications may be obtained on the Town of Readfield website at www.readfieldmaine.org/bids. You will need to “Subscribe to Updates” to view and download the RFP.  The Town of Readfield reserves the right to accept any or reject any or all proposals.  Proposers may be present at the proposal opening if so desired.
