Composting Workshop TONIGHT, August 26th!

We'll be holding another Backyard Composting Workshop tonight at the Transfer Station at 6:30pm!  Spend a half-hour learning about how to effectively compost food and yard waste at home and receive a free high-quality compost bin.  If you're interested you can register online!. 

If you'd rather compost someplace else we have a great collection program at the Transfer Station and we can provide a free food compost collection bucket so you can bring your food waste for us to take care of - just ask an attendant!  It's easy and free and we will accept materials year-round.

Food composting saves tax dollars, is good for the soil, and helps make the Transfer Station a more pleasant place to visit.  Whether you do it at home or at the Transfer Station we want to help you get started!  Visit the Transfer Station or Town Website for additional information and resources.
