Correction to Messenger Calendar - You're going to want to check this out.....The November Messenger!

Correction to the November Messenger Calender - In the November edition of the Messenger some of the Messengers were printed stating the Transfer Station was closed on November 10 and open on November 11 - The correct hours for the Transfer Station are the following:

  • Friday, November 10: OPEN 11:00am to 6:00pm
  • Saturday, November 11: CLOSED for Veterans Day

Sorry for any confusion. The correct edition is uploaded to the website and new ones have been printed.

It's the first day of November and that means that the newest edition of the Readfield Messenger is out!

So lets see whats happening!

  • Voting is November 7, 2023 from 8:00 am - 8:00 pm at Kents Hill School, 1617 Main Street. You can request your absentee ballots up until Thursday, November 2nd by 5:00 PM online or come and get your ballot, you can also vote in person up until that time. The Town Clerk will be in the Office Thursday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm for Absentee Voting for this purpose ONLY (please note the front window will not be open). Stop in to Kristin's office if you would like to vote or request your absentee ballot!
  • 2024 Dog Registrations are now available - don't delay - register them online or stop in at the Town Office. Click here to find easy and convenient ways to register your dog(s). Please let us know if you no longer are the owner of you dog so we can update our records. 
  • Rec Basketball will be starting up soon for Grades 1 - 6 - More information can be found here - register online or stop by the Town Office and fill out the Registration Form.   • On Saturday, November 11 we will be holding our Annual Veterans Day Celebration - we hope to see you there.
