December is almost here! That means a new Messenger has arrived!

December is just a few days away and will be gone before we know it...... so you better check out the December Messenger now before we are welcoming 2024!

Let's kick things off with the Annual Community Tree Lighting on Friday, December 1st starting at 6:30 pm at the Readfield Library (rain date of Sunday, Dec 3rd). 

And during the holiday season don't forget about your four pawed furry friends and to get them registered - 2023 licenses run out December 31st. We have seen an abundance of lost dogs in the area and a great way to make sure they are returned home quickly and safely is by having them registered so we can find their owner. 

The Maranacook Community Cafe is a great way to meet new people, catch up with old ones and support the community. Thursdays from 9:30am to 11:00am at the Maranacook Middle School and best of all.... its Hosted by Maranacook Middle School Students! 

And did you hear for the younger kids in our community? The Readfield Playgroup has moved! They meet on Thursdays from 9:30am to 11:00am at the Maranacook Bus Garage classroom on the North Road. This is great for toddlers and preschoolers to socialize and interact and for caregivers to connect as well!
