REMINDER......... Tomorrow is Readfield Roadside Clean-Up Day 2019

Roadside Clean-up Day! May 11, 2019 from 8:30 am – 12:00 noon.  Volunteers should meet at the Readfield Fairgrounds Parking Lot located on the Church Road at 8:30 for road assignments. Lunch will be provided at between 11:00 am - 12:00 noon.

Please wear comfortable boots, appropriate Maine spring clothing, gloves, and either yellow or orange safety clothing so motorists can clearly see you..

We will be concentrating on the town roads that get the most usage.  Anything that has a disposal fee, Greg Durgin will take care of at the Transfer Station that day. Just let Glenn or Mike know you are part of the roadside cleanup.

Kathryn Woodsum and Greg Durgin are the leads this year. Let either one know you are planning on helping by emailing them at kwoodsum@readfieldmaine.org or durgie@roadrunner.com or you can call Greg at 685-4481.

If you cannot attend but can clean up a roadside at another time, please let either Kathryn or Greg know the details.  

We will provide grabbers, trash bags, sunscreen, bug spray, and water bottles. Return trash bags to Kathryn at the Fairgrounds or take them directly to the Transfer Station. Please check in at Fairgrounds when you are done to return grabbers, advise what got done, and enjoy your lunch.
