RSU 38 School Board Vacancy

We have an opening for a Readfield representative to the Regional School Unit (RSU) 38 School Board.  This is normally an elected position but state law establishes that following a resignation the Select Board is tasked with appointing an interim member until the next municipal election (in June of 2024).  The Select Board accepted the resignation of Patricia Gordon with regret at their July 24 meeting.

Anyone interested in serving in this posltion should complete and submit an Appointment Application by Wednesday, August 16.  The Select Board will consider applications at their August 21 meeting.
