READFIELD PLANNING BOARD AGENDA

The Town of Readfield Planning Board will conduct Public Hearings / Meeting at the Town Office at 8 Old Kents Hill Road.

Public Comments at Public Hearings are encouraged and welcomed. They will be received at the time and in the order during the meeting as deemed appropriate by the Chair. Written comments from the public will be accepted at the Town Office at any time or emailed to ceo@readfieldmaine.org.; however, they must be submitted by the Thursday prior to the 1-11-20 scheduled meeting for them to be considered at that meeting

Public Hearings Starts 6:30 pm:

  • 1) Public Hearing 455 Sturtevant Hill Road – Quinton and Brittany Johnson: The Board will consider a reallocation of property lines on the 2003 approved minor subdivision known as the Big Sky (Diplock) subdivision. The applicants propose to purchase a 1.07 acre parcel directly behind and abutting their current residence parcel, from Tom Diplock, and ask to merge it into a conforming single family residential lot. The property is located at 455 Sturtevant Hill Road in the Rural Residential District identified on the Assessors map 133, lot 38.
  • 2) Public Hearing 866 Main Street – Cushing Storage and Rentals, LLC: The Board will consider a request from John Cushing for an expansion of his current Rental Storage Business with a proposed additional structure of 108’ x 20’ (2160 sq. ft.) consisting of individual storage units. Currently there exists a storage structure of approximately 2820 sq. ft. and a residence on the lot. The property is located at 866 Main Street in the Village District identified on the Assessors map 121, Lot 20.
  • 3) Public Meeting - 111 Mayo Road - Dawn and Scott Morash. The board will review a revised application to construct a new 3290 sq. ft., 3 bed 2.5 bathroom year round home on Maranacook Lake and demolish the existing structure on the property. The property is located in the Shoreland Residential District identified on the Tax map 134 lot 125 .
