2024-25 Budget Information

    The Readfield Budget Committee and Select Board are committed to holding our meetings with the widest scope of public input and transparency.  Our guiding principle in the budget development process is "To provide the services our residents want, at the level of service they expect, as cost effectively as possible".  Below you will find additional information on the budget process:

    Meetings and Participation:

    • Budget Committee meetings will begin at 6:30pm on Wednesday evenings (unless otherwise noted.)
    • Every meeting will include a Public Comment agenda item.
    • Budget Committee meetings will be physically held at the Town Office.
    • The public may participate in Budget Committee meetings in person, or via Zoom web conference or Zoom teleconference by calling +1 929 436 2866 and entering Meeting ID: 837 8064 8941 and Passcode: 582689.  Public Hearings * are held using the Select Board meeting credentials provided in the meeting materials.  
    • Written comments may be made in advance of the meeting using an online form on the Town website at https://www.readfieldmaine.org/select-board/webforms/public-meeting-and-hearing-comment-form.  All meetings are open to the public.
