The Town of Readfield (Town) is soliciting Technical Proposals for engineering services for a federally
funded project consisting of new sidewalk for one-third of a mile of Church Road, starting at Main
Street (Route 17) and continuing to the recreation complex. Price shall not be mentioned in the
Technical Proposal; otherwise, that proposal shall be rejected.

The Town has been awarded federal-aid funding from the State of Maine Department of Transportation
(MaineDOT). All work is subject to federal and state requirements, as well as the policies and
procedures in MaineDOT’s Local Project Administration Manual and Resource Guide:
www.maine.gov/mdot/lpa/manual/
