The April Messenger is now available either online here or you can grab a copy at the Town Office, Readfield or Kents Hill Post Offices, Transfer Station or Readfield Library.

A few highlights!

• We are now accepting 2024 Spirit of America Nominations - More information on the front page 
• We will be closed on Monday, April 15 in observance of Patriots Day
• Nomination papers are available for positions on the Select Board, RSU38 School Board and Local School Board - all papers  taken are are due back by April 12 at 3:30 pm.
• Stay up to date on all Budget related items by checking out updates on the Budget page and notices on our website and don't forget to subscribe to our e-alerts 
• Readfield Cemeteries Spring Clean-Up will be starting soon - read the message from Ben, Readfield Cemetery Sexton on page 6 regarding this process or on the Cemetery/Sexton Page here. 
• DEA National RX Take Back Day is Happening once again on Saturday, April 27 from 10:00am to 2:00pm at the Readfield Transfer Station 
• Updates from the Town Clerk on page 9 regarding New Online Voter Registration and Ongoing Absentee Voting (for those who are eligible). Voting information is update regularly on our website by the Town Clerk.
• The Readfield Community Library will be holding their Grand Opening Ceremony & Open House on Saturday April 6th starting at 10:00 am - check out the flyer here for more information.
• Interested in volunteering, we have many open volunteer opportunities!
