Planning Board Public Hearing & Meeting Agenda

 

 

Norwich Solar Technologies/ Stantec – Application for the construction of a large-scale solar generating facility.  The solar generating facility is proposed to locate on a fenced-in area of about 9.59 acres, with a total cleared area of about 15.51 acres.  The lot is about 71.93 acres.  The solar facility is proposed to be located approximately 1000 feet from Main Street and about 720 feet from the nearest structure. The “solar energy system” is described by Section 9 as a 7.34-acre system. The project is not expected to be visible from neighboring properties or roadways. A Commercial Industrial District Overlay application was previously approved in February 2024 by town vote.  The location of the property is:  Tax Map143, Lot 014. 

 

A Site Visit will take place at 5 PM on location prior to Public Hearing, public is welcome to observe.

 

 

Cushing Storage, LLC – Application to allow construction of two additional storage facilities located at 866 Main Street, Map 121 Lot 020. The proposed buildings will be approximately 100’ x 20’ and 100’ x 50’. A Commercial Industrial District Overlay application was previously approved in February 2024 by town vote.

 

Marijuanaville/FKD Berenyi, LLC – Application for a replacement of a retail medical marijuana dispensary located at 769 Main Street, Map 129 Lot 070; this application includes renovations to the retail space and apartments within the building.
